Service Description
A community of practice enables ongoing peer learning, shared problem-solving and cross-agency collaboration - all critical in complex systems where women often fall between service thresholds. Facilitated sessions by an independent consultant help maintain momentum, deepen multi-agency relationships, and support consistent practice across teams. This independent facilitation and development of a community of practice is particularly valuable in high-pressure health and justice environments where staff benefit from structured opportunities to reflect, align approaches and sustain gender-responsive thinking over time. Cancellation Policy
## **Cancellation Policy – Gender Responsive Training Sessions** We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as fair and transparent as possible. The following policy helps us manage our time, preparation, and commitments to all partners. ### **Cancellations** - **More than 30 days before the session:** No cancellation fee. - **29-20 days before the session:** 50% of the session fee is payable. - **Less than 21 days before the session:** The full session fee is payable. ### **Rescheduling** We will always try to accommodate a rescheduled date. - **More than 14 days’ notice:** No charge. - **Less than 14 days’ notice:** A rescheduling fee of 25% of the session cost applies. ### **Non‑attendance** If participants do not attend on the day without prior notice, the full fee will be charged. ### **Cancellations by Gender Responsive Insight** In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund. We will always communicate as early as possible. ### **Why this policy matters** Our training is highly tailored, preparation‑intensive, and often part of wider systems‑change work. These terms ensure we can protect capacity, honour commitments, and deliver high‑quality, gender‑responsive learning experiences.
